Spring is here, despite the snow! The high today, 41, will melt most of what we didn’t catch with the snowblower or snow shovel. We are in full swing with Spring Outreach, and this includes interviewing interns!

2019 Summer Internship Snapshot We are now interviewing interested candidates (age 14+ high school or undergraduate students) who want to join our therapeutic programs-in-the-garden team. Our interns are young people who love the outdoors, love the garden, and love providing respite and recreation for care-partners and people living with physical and cognitive disabilities.

We will be interviewing and accepting intern candidates throughout the spring season (March 1 to June 15).
Spring Internship: April 1 – May 24.
Summer Internship: June 3 – July 26.
Fall Internship: August 12 – December 13.

High-school, Bachelor’s and Master’s level internships are available. Please contact us if you are seeking to gain experience in communications, community outreach, marketing, social work, hospitality services, sociology, psychology, education, special education, music/dance/drama/art therapies, horticulture, horticultural therapy, dementia care, disability care, spiritual care, accessible design, universal design, event management, program management, program administration, and/or social entrepreneurship.

Please share these volunteer opportunities with the young people in your life! No other internship program includes the benefit of smelling the roses!

Peace & Joy,
Mary
