Join our small group for a free sixty-minute sitting meditation mid-week, mid-day, on Wednesday (maximum 7 participants).
This meditation group is a small, informal gathering of friends and offered free of charge. Beginners are welcome! Click the “register” link below to sign-up for the group at least 24 hours in advance.
We will meet: Rest.Stop.Ranch, 202 Haverhill Rd, Topsfield, MA
When: 11:45-1pm (lunch hour)
Format for Our Sitting Session:
11:45 am Arrive, Set-up, Settle-in
12:00 pm Be in (sitting meditation)
1:00 pm Come out (sitting meditation)
Optional 15 minute post-meditation share, questions
Optional Meditation Comfort Items to Bring:
- Meditation cushion or folded blanket to sit upon
- Shoulder wrap, lap blanket
- Water Bottle or Hot Tea thermos
Mary, meditation guide, will provide:
- 60 minute timer
- Basic how to meditate instructions and support
- restroom (indoors)
Mary’s meditation background includes 400+ hour Yoga Teacher Training received at Kripalu Center in Stockbridge, MA, as well as several years of experience with Centering Prayer in the Catholic tradition.
