  • Our story: Inspired by our own dementia-care journey with Mary’s mom, Margaret, we learned that more accessible garden experiences were needed for people using wheelchairs.

We are developing our private wheelchair-accessible gardens for future enjoyment and therapeutic benefit of people in our community affected by long-term illness and disability. This is a long-term, life-long project for us.

Memory Cafe

For people with memory-loss, with their care-partners.  Enjoy fellowship at least once-a-month in Topsfield; outdoors in our therapeutic garden, April-October, and indoors, at Topsfield Trinity Church, November-March. Memory Café in the GardenSM is offered 1st and 3rd Saturday mornings, April – October. Enjoy Picnics (carry-in, carry-out), Flowers, Birds, Fish, Drums & Dance, Networking. Meet in the Caretaker’s Cottage on rainy days. Memory Café at River Road offers once-a-month (1st or 3rd Saturday mornings) socializing, networking, and an inclusive interactive program (124 River Rd. Topsfield, MA, 01983). Funded partly by MA DDS.
