Thursdays, 9a-12p, Volunteers Get Dirty in the Garden

Join us today, 9am – 12pm for our Volunteers/HORT Therapy “Get Dirty in the Garden” first session. Today, we are working on winter cleanup and trail maintenance. You can be:
A. An Observer
B. A Learner
C. A Teacher

Teachers at our Thursday program are very skilled in the art and science of garden maintenance and horticultural therapy. Right now, our teachers are:
Mary (me), Program Director, Garden User Experience Designer
Edith Heyck, Program Manager
Bruce Piper, Landscaper
Jean DiVincenzo, Landscape Designer

Volunteers age 14+ are welcome. All abilities welcome. Space is still available in all groups: Observing, Learning & Teaching.

We can now observe hundreds of spring bulbs emerging along the Orchard Ave. If you’d like to come and see, visit us TODAY, between 9am – 12pm. This is when we are working on maintaining the garden each week at our Volunteers/HORT Therapy “Get Dirty in the Garden” program.
