Day 2 of 7: Horticultural Therapy Week, Spring has Sprung!
Bulbs Emerge in Orchard Ave.
For hours this past Saturday, I was on hands and knees clearing leaf litter covering the beds where we’ve planted spring bulbs. I started the clearing with a metal rake – this tool helped to clear and gather down branches, and a top layer of needles and leaves. Karl finished the job with the leaf blower. We can now observe hundreds of spring bulbs emerging in the Orchard Ave. If you’d like to come and see, visit us on Thursday morning, between 9am – 12pm. This is when we are working on maintaining the garden each week at our “Get Dirty in the Garden” program.
Peace and Joy,
